  • The Cafeteria is open seven days a week, every day of the year from 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
    • Daily Special/Grill/Fryer items: 11 am- 6:30 pm 
    • Inquiries about the cafeteria and/or catering can be made at 613 526-7171 (ext. 2606).

Catering
  • Food & Nutrition Services offers a catering service for special occasions, such as birthdays and/or anniversaries, and Celebration of Life services.

  • Our catering staff have created a variety of menus to meet every need and diet.

Care Clinic at Perley Health

Please note that the Care Clinic will be closed from December 24th – 27th, and again on January 1st, reopening on Thursday, January 2nd.

Deborah's Gift Boutique

  • Deborah's Gift Boutique sells confectionery items, greeting cards, gift items, and postage stamps.

  • The shop is located across from the Pub, around the corner from the Cafeteria.

  • Please note that the Gift Boutique's hours are as follows
    • Monday through Friday - 10:30 AM - 3:30 PM
    • Saturday and Sunday - 12:00 PM - 3:30 PM
    • Closed on Statutory and paid holidays

Dental Hygienist & Denturist

Please note that the Dental Clinic will be closed from December 20th - January 1st, reopening on Thursday, Jan 2nd.

Dental Hygienist Amy Pitre is available for consultation for Veteran and community residents. A referral can be made through the registered nursing staff. For qualified Veteran residents, a range of dental services is available through Veterans Affairs Canada. For community residents, dental services are not covered by OHIP and must be paid for by the resident.

The Dental Care Clinic is located on the main floor in the Interprofessional Clinic at Perley Health.

Denturist Amanda Bolle is available to provide on-site denture services. To make a referral, please contact the Dental Clinic or contact Amanda directly at 613-406-7808 or info@ottawamobiledental.com.

Hair Salon/Barber

Please note that the Hair Salon will be closed from December 24th- January 8th, reopening on Thursday, January 9th.
The Salon will be open on December 29th and will provide services by appointment only (no walk-in services).

Welcome to Souls Parlour by Beauty Profs at Perley Health!

We are thrilled to announce that Beauty Profs, led by owner Deborah Macharia, will soon offer hair and beauty services right here at Perley Health. Services are open to all residents, tenants, staff and the general public.

We are pleased to introduce Saba Tsegai, who will serve as the lead hairstylist. See below for a message from the Beauty Profs Team.

The Hair Salon will run with it's usual hours of operation, as follows:

  • Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM

This message will be shared today with all email subscribers, and posted to the Perley Health website, and excerpts may appear on TVs in the common areas.

Jo and Denny's Pub

  • Please note that the Pub's hours are as follows
    • Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays - 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM
    • Thursdays - 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM
    • The bar is closed on Wednesdays to host the weekly ice cream service

  • The Volunteer Bartender can be contacted at 613 526-7171 (ext. 2850) during pub hours. 

  • Proceeds from the Pub support activities for the Veterans' Council.

Optometry Services

Optometrist Dr. Carolyn Fyffe can provide on-site eye examinations and support the purchase and repair of glasses. Dr. Fyffe is also able to see residents at the eyeDocs Ottawa Clinic (1285 Kilborn Avenue).

Referrals can be made through the registered nursing staff, or by contacting Dr. Fyffe at homevisioncare@gmail.com.  

Palliative Care Family Suite

The suite is available to families during end-of-life care.

The suite is located on Ottawa 2 East Unit across from the dining room. It has a private bath/shower, a pullout futon, a kitchenette with small appliances (including a fridge), a television with cable and a telephone for local calls. Housekeeping provides towels, linens and toiletries.

  • The suite is available at no charge; however a $20 deposit is required to obtain the room key.

  • Room bookings can be made through the Commissionaire at the Main Entrance.

  • Donations are welcome to the Perley Health Foundation.
