Veteran Volunteerism Initiative

ph-tplf

Perley Health is proud to partner with True Patriot Love Foundation as part of a national Veteran Volunteerism Initiative (VVI).

The objective of the VVI is to establish an expert knowledge base to better understand the relationship between volunteerism and well-being in Veterans. Through volunteering, we expect Veterans will improve well-being and help form stronger ties with their communities, to the benefit of all. We have certainly witnessed this, on many occasions, when veterans volunteer at Perley Health!

This work will be unified by the development of a National Action Plan on Veteran Volunteerism that will result in increased sustainable Veteran volunteerism in the military and civilian sectors. All veterans applying to volunteer at Perley Health will be asked to complete a pre and post survey to contribute to the VVI data.
