Our Story
We have embraced video to share our story. Rather than publish an annual print report, we will post quarterly video updates and broadcast through our website and social media channels. A print summary will also be available including additional information that did not make it in the video.
Once a year, a summary of our audited financial statements will be included in the print document.
Here's our library of recent videos and print reports:

COVID-19 can spread easily: Be kind and remind:
The 122nd Annual Meeting of The Perley Health Veteran's Health Centre Corporation was held on Thursday, June 4, 2020. Residents, tenants, families and friends, staff and volunteers were cordially invited to attend via video conference.
The theme of the meeting was gratitude, both for the dedication of staff and for the support from the community. In his remarks, Board Chair Kris Birchard emphasized that Perley Health's success results from a team effort. He also described the work underway to update Perley Health's brand so that it better reflects the organization's ongoing evolution.
Members of the Board recorded and posted video tributes to staff. Along with expressing appreciation for all staff, members singled out individuals who went above and beyond the call of duty during the pandemic.

Watch a feature video on our outstanding Therapeutic Recreation and Creative Arts Program
The Therapeutic Recreation and Creative Arts Program is funded by Veterans Affairs Canada and The Perley Health Foundation. The Program improves quality of life for residents and generates valuable lessons that Perley Health staff share with their professional peers at other homes.
This video profiles Ross Imrie who serves as Studio Lead, and features Connie Sandilands, a nurse and Veteran of the Second World War. During the years Connie lived at Perley Health, she participated actively in the Program.
We are proud to dedicate this video to Connie's memory and to her service to Canada.
