Dr. Benoît Robert

Dr. Benoît Robert joined Perley Health in 1999, and assumed his current position as Perley Health's Chief Medical Officer in January 2011.  Dr. Robert attended the University of Ottawa and obtained his Doctorate of Medicine (MD) in 1986. He also achieved specialization in family medicine with a CCFP in 1988 at the University of Ottawa.  Through the leader route, he received additional qualifications in Care of the Elderly and in Palliative Care.  

Dr. Robert received his Master of Business Administration in 1995.

He is a board member of the Ontario Long-Term Care Clinicians and helped establish the Forum for medical directors in Ottawa.  He is also a one of the clinical leads for palliative care for Ontario Health East, and sits on the primary care table for the Ottawa Health Team – Equipe Sante Ottawa.
