LTC Summer BBQs 2024

That's a wrap for LTC BBQ season!

Summer was sizzling this year at Perley Health. As summer wraps up so does our BBQ season.

Since June, the Therapeutic Recreation & Creative Arts team have been firing up the grills and providing residents and families with on unit BBQ's each month.

That means:

• 36 BBQs hosted by the team for LTC residents
• 450 residents served (3 times!)
• 1350 Hotdogs & Hamburgers grilled to perfection
• 558 Cobs of Corn shucked in August
• Unfortunately 4 rain days… but we still had a great time inside!

Thank you to Sarah for the beautiful centerpieces from our gardens & to our musicians/music therapists for delighting residents with their musical accompaniment.
